Midtown Poppy, aka Willow

Four year-old grey mare by Lunesdale Beckham out of the Murthwaite Windrush mare Murthwaite Kim Renee.

I bought Willow from the FPS sales as a foal and she’s been a complete joy to own. She’s only being offered due to a lack of time on my part due to recent knee surgery.

Currently standing at about 13hh, but expected to mature to 13.1/13.2hh. She’s a quality, true-to-type mare with plenty of bone and substance, good hair and fantastic paces.

She is a dream to do; very low maintenance and is great with the farrier and dentist. A true sweetheart who loves attention and is lovely to handle. Contended a couple of shows as a yearling and a two-year-old but had been left to grow on last season.

Now currently away from home, being professionally broken to ride and taking to ridden work well. I’m sure she’ll make someone the most wonderful pony. Would be a lovely show prospect, junior workers or would equally make a good all-rounder.

All up-to-date with vaccines and teeth etc.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this mare. She is a special girl who always wants to please.
