Re: unrelated-shorter been watching
The Bad Sleep Well was the last to get cut. I actually rewatched it a few weeks ago. It's kinda the opposite of High and Low in that High and Low starts out really slow (shoe sales talk!), but keeps getting better and better and I love the ending, whereas Bad Sleep Well starts out great and stays that way for a long time, but then fizzles out at the end. I know thematically the downer of an ending totally fits, but it doesn't make for the most rewarding watch.
Likewise, Sabotage was the last to get cut of the Hitchcocks. It's very good, but ten is enough. Plus, dead child and puppy.
Next up: both versions of Cape Fear, which I've somehow never seen.
