Alot of Western movie buffs think Daves was one of the genre's giants but most of his movies are too 1950s in ways that will probably turn off most younger viewers. Its kind of interesting, to me at least, that 3:10 to Yuma, which has none of those issues, is the only one in B&W.
I don't know many of his other movies. His noir Dark Passage is well liked but I've never seen it.
