Silicon Valley - I watched the first four seasons in fairly close proximity, and they're mostly pretty strong. Since a lot of my job abuts on the tech industry, a lot of this hit close to home and it knows what it's talking about most of the time. Unfortunately, the plotting gets pretty repetitive and Thomas Middlemitch's character is increasingly tiring (I don't think that's a fault of the actor). Also, has Mike Judge ever written an interesting female character? I probably won't finish this show.
The Great - Hulu show about Catherine The Great, created by the guy who co-wrote The Favourite. Based on two episodes, it's enjoyable - if you like that movie, it's worth checking this out
Fargo - season 2. I hated Legion so much that I put off watching this, but so far this is as enjoyable as the first season.
Dead To Me - Netflix suspense borderline drama/comedy show, I'm almost done with season 2. This is a lot of fun - it's kind of a not shitty version of Big Little Lies, and as someone with a fondness for Linda Cardellini going back to Freaks And Geeks, it's nice to see her with a big role and she's great in it.
DC's Legends Of Tomorrow - finished season 4. I find the idea of superhero TV shows unappealing, but this works because it's mostly just an ensemble comedy with occasional dramatic moments and more hijinks than superpowers. Although Season 4 was.a step down from 2 and 3 I thought. In the offchance I've inspired you to watch this, skip season 1 entirely, it's pretty bad.
Mad Men - rewatch, just finished Season 3. I forgot until rewatching how funny this show is - e.g. basically every second Pete or Peggy line is hilarious. I wasn't sure if this would hold up but I think it does so far (even though Season 3 was a little tedious).
Angel - rewatch, just finished Season 2. It's a shame this show didn't have a particularly good actor in the lead role, and that nothing about the evil law firm makes any sense.
Cowboy Bebop - rewatch. This was a great show when I was 18. It's an okay show now.
I might go back to Person Of Interest or The Magicians soon.
Atlantics - Senegal-set film about labor exploitation and ghosts. Decent but not amazing. Reminded me a bit of Zombi Child, which came out this year and which I liked more.
Back To The Future Part III - I watched half an hour of this and turned it off since I wasn't enjoying this at all. Did I make the wrong choice?
The Death of Stalin - pretty good, about what I expected
