"Happy-Go-Lucky" is also very good and probably more accessible than "Life Is Sweet". Though to state the obvious, Sally Hawkins's performance is a huge part of the former film's success. "Topsy-Turvy" is good and even someone like me who doesn't care about G&S or musical theater in general was engaged and entertained. "Mr. Turner" was pretty disappointing though- Leigh effectively recreates the time period but just can't manage to make Turner interesting.

Ha I think the key word there is "recognized", since he's got a memorable face but that last name doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.
