I bought/rewatched "Dick Tracy" not too long ago
Some of the acting is shockingly awful- all the scenes with Madonna are cringe-inducing, Warren is wooden and Pacino does a parody of himself (or rather his "Scent of a Woman"-present self). But the action sequences and in particular the visuals are pretty impressive- it really has a visual style unlike any other film I've seen. They were obviously trying to actually try to translate comics to film in a way similar to what was done later and more effectively with "Sin City". But um yeah, I remember it being pretty hyped when it came out (I was a kid and went to Disneyland and bought all the toys) and I think everyone basically thought it sucked.
As I've said in the past, "Secret of the Ooze" holds up way better than the first "TMNT" film IMO.
I also bought/rewatched all the theatrical Ernest films and "Jail" was the one I remembered the least but was impressed with the most, at least when compared with my memory. I still prefer "Scared Stupid" and "Goes To Camp" but I appreciated how dark and weird "Jail" gets at times.
