I always forget about The Post as well. It's on Netflix I think so maybe I'll give it a go. I suspect that one was Spielberg trying to make something prescient because he naively thought good old fashioned newspaper reporting was going to take down Trump, which then failed to happen.
I found Tintin fairly deflating, there's something off about it. It just made me think he really can't do that kind of rollicking boy's own adventure stuff anymore.
BFG I've seen bits of and it seems weirdly plotless and meandering, possibly because it's faithful to the book (which I barely remember at this point).
Bridge Of Spies though was a solid, well written drama though, my favourite since War Of The Worlds. It's basically a modern Jimmy Stewart film.
I'd like to see War Horse, I gather that has its defenders.
