I used to have Spotify, too. One thing I never understood: I've heard that the free and premium versions are the same except that premium has no ads, but when I've tried to use the free version it's radio-only (that is, it doesn't play an album, but just the one song and from there it goes to another, branching-out song). Am I just doing it wrong? I had premium but when I have free rein over a library I have trouble figuring out what I want.
Spotify streaming is supposed to have reasonably transparent sound quality (at least no worse than the 128kbps Opus files on my phone). Is it Tidal that claims to be audiophile quality? Nothing on your phone is going to be the equal of a good hi-fi system. These people are wasting their money.
