HTTT even has that aspect of tossing off stuff. Not as much as KOL but Hail To The Thief comes off as a bit meandering and fillery these days. Kind of inconsistent. I think they wanted to dabble in some diversity in their music with different sounds (electronica pop, The Bends-esque rock, piano indie pop, some hip hop in "Wolf At The Door" and a few other random styles) but a portion of it in the middle of the album is kind of unmemorable. I guess its like a 7/10 type of album for me, but still really good and has a decent amount of prime Radiohead on it.
