I have one of his string quartets on a CD and listened to it once, a long time ago. I thought it was interesting enough, but that there was no need to hear it ever again. From what I understand, it's more typical of his work than the following, which I somehow found on YouTube. Metal Machine Music, eat your heart out:
The worst recording I own is John Cage's concerto for prepared piano. It's about 20dB throughout and isn't really music at all, but I think the Babbitt synth wankery is at least somewhat entertaining (more so than listening to what is effectively discordant near-silence for 25min).
