His explanation of why ranked Why Can't This Be Love so low makes sense, but I have to say that I think Dave had a tendency to get shouty and obnoxious in his solo career, which I don't hear on HV, and Yankee Rose is an example of that.
I thought The Dream Is Over was ne of the better liked songs on that album and had a more distinctive riff than most of the rest of the record. He gives higher ratings to the songs there that I always found some of their most forgettable.

I have mixed feelings about Human Beings, some of the worst vocals of the Van Hagar era but probably the best guitar playing of that era. It's certainly waaaay too high but I'd rate it higher than some people would.
I am not an OU812 defender and can't fathom the high rating for Cabo Wabo.
