I also recalled reading loads of reviews--and IMDb links to a ZILLION review sites for an old hit horror movie, so you're in for a lot of reading!--and nearly ALL of them seemed to over explain how Romero's insights into the human condition were really ingenious or something. I mean, LONG, LENGTHY reviews. And I just felt that it was all "horror fans desperately want their junk to be taken seriously as art."
I will state that I found Martin to be a better "social commentary" movie than any of the zombie movies, asking without asking whether or not it really mattered if that kid was a vampire in an environment that crappy.
NP: Queen, Flash Gordon soundtrack (worthless!!!)
