Despite a lot of consistency, I don't think that any of their albums hold up as great in contemporary times, though. I'd rate most of their albums as B+s, with a couple of A-minuses thrown in there. It would be impossible to look at my rating s for their catalog and in any way determine that I either hate or don't like them.
However, because it's *The Beatles* and its been shoved down the throats of every person of a certain age in North America and Europe for decades, not kneeling before them or - gasp - calling all of the usual suspect albums "great" is a sin and people a lot dumber than me have interpreted this as "hating," which is ridiculous.
No, I don't think that the Beatles made a single great album (great album defined by me as an A or A+ on my personal scale).
But that certainly doesn't mean that I don't like their stuff.
