Fats Waller & Alberta Hunter - Beale Street Blues (can't get enough of that organ!)
Dr. Phibes and the House of Wax Equations - Marshmallow Madness (the singer/guitarist is legit doing life for murdering his mother. Reminds me of early Verve, but with a purpose. There's quite a bit of dynamic compression in this video and it very much sounds great in this small dose. British music was brilliant in this period while we were stuck with grunge.)
The Jazz Butcher - Soul Happy Hour (cute song. I've already put it on a CD, kicking the whole thing off. "Fury/brewery" is the best rhyme ever.)
Manic Street Preachers - Archives of Pain (of what I've heard of their output, this is their only album I even like, but what an album!)
Ultravox - Hymn (the choice from an underrated album. I like everything I've heard from them a lot, but for some reason have never explored them further.)
Bonus video.
