Some of the stuff I *thought* was new, like the playboy bunny show, had actually been there all along. There seemed to be a lot more comic relief about Duvall's surfboard in this version.
It was good, though with the plantation bit I think it loses some of that feeling of descending deeper into madness, because it's the most civilised part of the film and comes right before the final Kurtz section.
I'm interested in the Godfather 3 recut, because I actually kind of like Godfather 3. But I read up on what they changed and he changed the ending in a way I'm not sure I agree with (though I get what he's going for with it). I'd have to see it, though.
I think he did a new cut of Tucker as well. Guess he's got to keep himself busy in old age, until someone hands him 200 million to make Megalopolis.
