I know that the creepy little guy from Phantom Of The Paradise is responsible for most of the songs in the movie but he didn't do a good job on either a good-ironic or bad-ironic level. The songs are just stupid, period.

And:

"as well as a prescient send-up of blundering American idiocy in the Middle East."

Oh, YEAH.
Does J. Ro also think Silver Linings Playbook is a powerful depiction of mental illness, or had he already said that about Happy Gilmore?
