Ever since developing the Top 500 album list on Excel which may have took some time back then, the continual building up of the list is now simple process.
Every time I listen to the album that I like I add that album to the list in both Excel and my iTunes playlist. Eventually the list builds up to become 1000 recordings (actually 1127 currently). I also do this with classical music and incrementally it has now reach 1547 composition.
Whenever you read a what's spinning playlist and see a bolded album. If the album wasn't a relisten, then it's a new addition to the list.
It only takes a few seconds to minute straight after listening to an album that I like to fill in the data in Excel and add that album to the playlist. So this is hardly time consuming work. Mostly just many increments of few minutes of work
In any case my wife supports this list making.
