>Fanny and Alexander
I remember this being good, but I probably watched it fourteen years ago or something like that and don't remember much of anything that happened in it! I watched the five hour version too.
Bizarrely, I remember lots of Scenes From A Marriage, though I've not been married.
Why did Tommy Lee Jones followup his Oscar victory by giving so many hammy performances in a row? This, Natural Born Killers, Batman Forever, The Client. He's usually so reliable, too.
Harry Connick Jr. was a LAUGH RIOT in this movie. I remember not much else except that the real killer turns out to be the loser who got a spike rammed up through and out of his mouth in Dario Argento's Opera.
>Six Degrees of Separation
Never saw this, but the story about Denzel Washington telling Will Smith "don't be playin' no f****ts" the same year Denzel (wonderfully) played a homophobic jerk in Philadelphia is very funny.
Lame movie based on a hilariously dumb book; I'd recommend the book, just because King was so obviously coked out of his brain when he wrote it (over the course of about a week, IIRC.) I can't believe anyone likes it, let alone finds it scary.
Gary Busey went "crazy" after a motorcycle accident in the late 80s.
First one's good, I watched the next two and wasn't very impressed by them, so I didn't watch all six. Yep, pre-stardom Jimmy Stewart's the villain in one of them. Whoopsie, spoiler!
