Yeah I read your post about The Last Movie and it interested me to read more about Dennis Hopper. I guess I didn't realize he had directed so many other films and was kind of exiled awhile after "The Last Movie" bombed. Didn't realize "Blue Velvet" was a huge comeback movie for his career at the time. Guess i thought he was just always around since the late 60s. I still haven't even seen Easy Rider yet though for some dumb reason. Need to get on that.

Out Of The Blue has a young girl as the main character really into punk rock and has a ####ed up family from what I read. Looks really interesting and apparently depressing/sad. One of those films I had no clue existed or that Hopper had anything to do with.

Seems like so many weird forgotten movies, from the 80s mainly that I've never knew existed. Like "Human Highway" by Neil Young or that Oingo-Boingo Danny Elfman film that I only found out about a few years ago.
