Pablo Honey showed that Thom Yorke is already a great talent for vocal melodies (Creep and Anyone Can Play Guitar is really Beatle-seque quality when it comes to flowing melodic lines) and a great vocalist.
Every single song in the album is well written and memorable
The only weakness is it marred by murky production and inappropriate grunge heaviness. Even then Blow Out showed the future greatness of Radiohead and where they were heading when the arrangement, melodies and vocal performance click together simultaneously
However as much as people damn Pablo Honey as Radiohead jumping on the coat tails of the grunge music and the success of Nirvana
I just think from a pure songwriting point of view I rather listen to Pablo Honey than any Nirvana record with the exception of MTV Unplugged. Nirvana melodies relies more on repetition (similar to The Stones) rather than melodic flow
