The third, of course, had Rambo fighting with the mujahideen and I think Stallone won't talk about it today.
The fourth movie I haven't seen, but has one of the most hilariously loathsome body counts and gore overloads of all time, like 40000 people die or something.
The fifth, everyone hated completely and it disappeared after like a week. Guess Stallone didn't bother to get some smart young indie filmmaker to help him make it.
In the original film, when Rambo gets arrested by Brian Dennehy, he's like a dirty dishevelled hippie getting pulled over by the police, which is subversive imagery.
Then, when he's out in the woods fighting the police force, he's hiding in the trees and takes out guys with modern arms, making him the Vietcong. That's REALLY subversive!
And don't forget Stallone's rant at the end which is the most subversive bad acting ever
