It's kind of like the Simpsons now. Its best days are many years behind it (yet they're making all these movies and spinoffs just now, when it's more or less creatively spent) but it's still a cash cow and it's still Nickelodeon's most broadly popular show by far. It keeps going because it always has, but I don't know if anyone actually watches the new-production ones. If you don't expect it to live up to the glory days (1999-2004) they can be pretty enjoyable, but I don't check out Nick enough to watch much.
