Re: Opinions on e-readers?
We have a Kindle Paperwhite that I occasionally use, mostly for long books that are in the public domain (e.g. Dickens). I don't find it hard on the eyes at all. I still prefer reading on paper most of the time though, just because the tactile feeling is nice and it's easier to flip back to something. That said, the Kindle is definitely nice for trips and was often useful when I rode the subway.
I think some of the e-readers are really just tablets, and those are going to probably be harder on the eyes.
