Anyway, Patton's one of my favorite bluesmen and one of my favorite musical artists, period so hopefully this turns more folks onto his music, especially since he's still fairly unknown (pretty sure Sidebottom was the only Babbler I ever saw mention him). And though I generally prefer Kraftwerk's early pre-synthpop period, they're obviously very important/influential and definitely belong in the R&RHOF. Gil is similarly important/groundbreaking but not really my cuppa tea TBH.
Don't listen to Todd or Carole very often these days but I'm glad they both got in. I mostly know Tina's stuff with Ike and they were inducted together during the 90's but guess she deserves her second induction.
I still dig the first Foo Fighters album but it's basically a David Grohl solo album which bears little resemblance to the bland corporate rock (which probably has Kurt spinning in his grave) which came afterwards, though the 2nd album has its moments as well.
