I feel like "Modern Dance" and "Dub Housing" are pretty similar in quality though I guess the latter might be more unique and interesting due to its more experimental vibe. "Songs of the Bailing Man" is my favorite Ubu though, partly because it's their jazziest and partly because it doesn't have any bullshit sound collages.
The Raincoats' debut has grown on me in general but I'm also pretty lukewarm on the Kinks cover. And I still prefer the 2 albums. that followed, especially "Odyshape".
As I said recently, "A&M" is rightly considered OMD's best but the first 4 are similarly solid so definitely worth a listen if you dig that one.
I think Sleater Kinney is a good band and might check out more but based on what I've heard "Dig Me Out" is all I'll ever need.
