Re: My main issue is with my back
My problems have been mostly medical at this point, but nothing too bad; they came on before I was 30, anyway -- somewhat high blood pressure (135-40/85-90) that's genetic and which I've had since I was a teenager without advancing much; some proteinuria (proteins in the urine), though my kidney-function tests have been normal and it hasn't advanced in many years. Also an irregular heartbeat at times (I have flare-ups where my heart skips a beat a few times a day before going away for months or years.) But as far as pains and physical stuff, I feel more than fine.
Yeah, the "weird" comment was about the rather wide age disparity. Felt really weird at first knowing she could have been having sex before I was born. I guess that's a turn-on for some people, but it does feed the "mommy issues" thing that some people will run with. She was a great woman but unfortunately hanged herself a few years later (we amicably split when she moved away and never really had much contact after that.)
