The Beatles-The Beatles (The White Album) - It's almost impossible to beat this, possibly the greatest pop album ever.
Talking Heads-Remain in Light - And this is probably the ultimate nerd rock.
Stevie Wonder-Innervisions - Another glorious classic.
King Crimson-In the Court of the Crimson King - Again, classic. Only Greg Lake's choir boy singing never really grabbed me. Wetton and Belew had the energetic weirdness for KC.
Miles Davis-Kind of Blue - Haven't listened in years as I'm not a jazz aficionado but it has a good balance of composition and soloing.
Pink Floyd-The Dark Side of the Moon - I'll probably never listen to this all the way through again, but don't mind too much if any song is on the radio.
Prince and the Revolution-Purple Rain - Prince has grown off me in recent years, partly because the smuttiness is too distracting, but "Let's Go Crazy" and "Computer Blue" are still ace.
Ramones-Ramones - I have to be in a certain mood for them and rarely am. There're tons of punk/post-punk I'd rather listen to.
