Wild Honey Pie - Bizarre and short. I dont mind these weird ass interludes. Mccartney would bring this weird ass spirit to his Mccartney I and II records later.
The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill - Silly and kind of cringy but I guess its not terrible. Sounds like theyre having fun on this song, but it sounds like childrens music, literally like a childrens singalong. I'm not really a fan.
Piggies - One of my faves on the album. Has a great sound going with that harpsichord and a nice melody. Love the lyrics too about greed. Do people think its literally about pigs or something? Not sure what it is that people wouldnt like about this one.
Don't Pass Me By - Stupid corny Ringo country song. It's not terrible. Can enjoy it in the right mood but mostly skip it
Why Don't We Do It in the Road? - Used to love this one when I first heard the record but its just kind of annoying and repetitive. This weird ass silly spirit was also brought to Mccartney I and II albums, where Paul just does shit off the cuff and acts silly which I can kind of relate is a fun thing as a musician, but not always great to hear the results of.
Honey Pie - Its a beauty.. love this one
Savoy Truffle - Is he trying to do Blood Sweat and Tears or something maybe? That slightly funky horn-laden type of sound. Its very cool. Maybe not one of my favorite tracks on the album but definitely fun and interesting
Revolution 9 - I think its brilliant and very inspiring. Love the little clips and some parts are nightmare-inducing. Definitely one of my favorite tracks on the album. It needed something like this
Good NIght - I know John was going for that old timey Disney kind of sound, and it works for what he was going for but I prefer the simple Anthology version with just piano and Ringos voice.
