The Kinks - Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire): The first Kinks album I ever bought, and a couple of years before I became a big fan. It is a very solid collection of good songs, and has a great flow. Still my second favorite Kinks album after "Something Else."
The Who - Sell Out: One of those LPs I bought used years ago before upgrading it to CD. I have not listened to this in years, but now maybe I will give it another shot. I remember it being my second or third favorite studio album of theirs. It had some good singles, deep cuts, and commercial bits. It just lost me toward the end when they started to try and get all rock-opera on my ass.
