Has more of an actual purpose than most horror sequels (not saying much but still) and after a brief flashback, seems to pick up right where the first one left off. In other words, if you liked the original, this is definitely worth watching.
Lawrence delivers her greatest performance (yes, better than "Silver Linings"), natural and restrained. The film is a bit of a slow burner but effectively evokes a corner of the world most folks would care not to think about, namely the meth-infested Ozarks.
A Lizard in a Woman's Skin
Not an authority of Fulci or giallo but this was a reasonably watchable trashy horror flick. Concerns elements of erotic nightmares possibly coming true or predicting reality so there's plenty of endearingly dated psychedelic dream imagery to keep you interested even if the mystery itself is clumsily handled and doesn't really amount to much. If you're in the mood for weird, low budget horror you might dig it (especially if you're stoned out of your gourd).
