Outfield - Your Love A : Simple but about as infectious of a hook there is.
Guns N Roses - Welcome to the Jungle A- : Maybe docking this on slightly for overplay (which isn't fair). But it really is a great powerhouse anthem about L.A. Love that breakdown.
U2 - Pride/In the Name of Love B+ : Not actually the best song on the album it's on, and I'm tired of hearing it. Still a well constructed rocker, especially coming from U2's limited bag of tricks.
Rick Springfield - Jessie's Girl B : Catchy, radio friendly mediocrity.
Thin Lizzy - The Boys are Back in Town B- : Mid-tempo poppy metal. Surly they can do better than this?
Robert Palmer - Addicted to Love C+ : Bridges the gap between catchy and boring.
Pink Floyd - Money C : Just sounds lame. I don't care about that odd time signature.
Eagles - Life in the Fast Lane C- : This is just bad, mid-tempo country rock. Why were these guys so popular? Oooo, he said "goddamn."
Bob Seger - Strut D : Blehh! This guy is terrible. What is this this pseudo heavy riff? "Do respect the butt." Nice lyrics.
