I can see that, but do people still listen to albums? Their death was greatly exaggerated (no doubt the vinyl revival has something to do with that) but it wasn't long ago that people were cobbling together playlists of songs/single tracks. Taylor Swift's 1989 album was talked about as the last great album. (Jesus, that was seven years ago!)
I haven't kept up with listening practices since Pandora was in its infancy so these are non-rhetorical questions.
