This is okay I guess. B
Ted Nugent - "Cat Scratch Fever"
He's a real dumbass now but regardless of political opinions I've never been a big fan of his anyway. I'd rather watch his hilarious turn as a gooey eyed villain on Miami Vice than hear his music. Oh well, it's better than "Strangehold" - now THAT one is inexplicable... B-
Foreigner - "Juke Box Hero"
I can only stand "Cold As Ice" by these guys and that's because I *think* that one's tongue in cheek. I *think*. C+
Heart - "Magic Man"
Used in a cute scene in The Virgin Suicides, aside from that I'm not a huge fan of this one. "Crazy On You" and "Barracuda" are both better. BTW George adored their debut album. B-
Don Henley - "Dirty Laundry"
I actually prefer his solo hits to the Eagles, even if my mom liked 'em. B+
Huey Lewis - "Heart Of Rock & Roll"
I only really care for the Back To The Future song. I don't hate these guys but don't really like them either. B-
Billy Idol - "White Wedding"
Wanna hear a Billy song that you can like without being embarrassed? Try "Speed," which plays over the end credits of the movie of the same name--and it's not even an 80s song at all, it's total 90s pop metal!!! C+
Led Zeppelin - "Stairway To Heaven"
I don't really need to hear this song much anymore but I still think it's great...one of the songs that got me into rock music so I'll likely never hate it. The lyrics are basically balderdash, the Satanic rumour about the song is no longer amusing to me and it just serves to illustrate how dumb and childish rock music really is. But great song!!! A
RHCP - "Under The Bridge"
I've only liked about 50 minutes of RHCP music in my entire life, but I did think this song is classic. Sorry!! A
Billy Joel - "Piano Man"
I was never wild about it to begin with and it's STILL overplayed. I think his voice is very full of itself on this song. B- or C+
