I hear you with the Boston album having just enjoying a record regardless of actual musical content. The best prog albums have a lot of that, and I think it's VdGG's central appeal. Even if the songs on Bat Out of Hell sucked ass, I think the album would still in my top 25.
I'd suggest a poll for albums with the best "feel" to them, the combined product of the band, the producer, the engineer, et cetera, but I'm kind of bored and also stoned, too, and that's a bad state of mind to listen to music critically.
"Hit Me With Your Best Shot" is also Benetar, right? That song sucks dick. "Heartbreaker" (the name rings a bell, like there's a somewhat off-the-wall beat. Or I could just look on YouTube.
