B+. This is okay but I've never thought of it as one of his best songs. Uh, I guess I could revisit the album too, which is usually thought of as one of his best, but I never got what was so great about it and have forgotten everything on it except RM.
Eddie Money - Take Me Home Tonight (Be My Baby)
B. I guess it has a decent hook to it. God knows what other Eddie Money songs even exist, he's one of those one hit wonders whose other songs I've never bothered to even go near, unlike say Til Tuesday.
Boston - Foreplay/Long Time
A-. "More Than A Feeling," "Peace Of Mind" and this are all the Boston I ever need to hear again the rest of my life.
Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning
A-. I actually used to dislike this song intensely and agree they have better songs (and they're not actually a one hit wonder in America--I've heard "Blue Sky Mine" quite a bit here!) However, it's better than most of the rest of Diesel & Dust.
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
A+. Deserves all the love it's been given over the years, IMO. I guess I could be a bit apologetic about it...
John Mellencamp - Jack and Diane
C+. I only like "Check It Out" and "Cherry Bomb" by him.
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
A...I guess. I mean, it's one of the songs that got me into rock music. However, I never need to hear it again.
INXS - Devil Inside
I only know "Never Tear Us Apart" and "I Need You Tonight."
Joan Jett - I Love Rock N' Roll
D+. Hate this song and always have. Stupid shit for little kids. I'm not sure that I like anything she ever did anyway.
Pat Benitar - Heartbreaker
C+. "Shadows Of The Night," "We Belong" and "Invincible" are the Benatar songs I like, but don't ask me to explain why.
