If You're Feeling Sinister. Not as good as Dear Catastrophe Waitress, and possibly Boy With The Arab Strap too, in part because of a couple weak songs ("Me and the Major", "The Boy Done Wrong Again") but still very good. "Stars of Track and Field" is one of my favorite openers, love when the jangly guitar comes in midway through verse 2. Also the VU-inspired coda. And "Judy and the Dream of Horses" is a great closer.
Dusty in Memphis. I've never loved her voice but this material suits it. I don't listen to this often but I enjoy it when I do.
Donuts. I don't know if it's the most interesting but his vibe is enjoyable.
The Soft Bulletin. It's a good sound, not much from a songwriting standpoint to me.
Hot Rats. Maybe my favorite Zappa album, which isn't saying much, but I like "Peaches En Regalia" and "Little Umbrellas".
Making Movies. We're getting into the ones I don't remember very well. "Romeo and Juliet" is nice.
Fever To Tell. Never really got into this one, though I quite like their subsequent Show Your Bones. I never really got what the big deal with "Maps" was supposed to be.
Love It To Death. Not really my thing. "I'm Eighteen" is okay but not terribly interesting, and I can't remember the rest.
Unknown Pleasures. Okay, granted, I don't remember any of the songs. But I dislike Joy Division generally almost as much as I like New Order, so down here it goes. Maybe I'll give it a listen and see if I convince myself otherwise.
