Barry Booth - Diversion. Popped up in my Spotify recommendations - a sort of baroque pop/Randy Newman type. This is very good on one listen.
The Left Banke - The Left Banke Too. It probably popped up because I was listening to this. Much better than their debut album for my money. Anybody heard their 1986 album Strangers On A Train? The idea of a Left Banke album coming out then just seems so wrong that I'm curious about it.
Tinashe - 333. The most consistently good artist working today that I know of.
Antonio Carlos Jobim - The Composer of Desafinado Plays. The tunes are great but there's nothing terribly interesting about their presentation here. (For what it's worth Tabs, I remember liking the Jobim + Elis Regina album that "Aguas de Marco" and maybe their other duet you mention are from.)
Josh Clayton-Felt - Spirit Touches Ground. Woke up the other day with "Building Atlantis" in my head, a song I probably haven't heard in ten years. The album's okay.
Arthur Brown - Spirits Take Flight. And the name of that last album reminded me of the title track from this one, a song I probably haven't heard in twenty years. This is kind of neat. I should listen to more of his stuff.
Saint Etienne - I've Been Trying To Tell You. Even more chillout from them than normal. I don't like all of this but some of it is quite pretty.
Greenslade - Greenslade
Gnidrolog - Lady Lake. Some mediocre prog that Spotify threw my way. Neither made much impression.
Georgia - Seeking Thrills. Some pretty good pop.
Janis Ian - Who Really Cares. Some pretty good jazz-folk or whatever you'd call her.
The Residents - Diskomo. I don't remember why I listened to this release in particular. The title track is kind of neat, the rest of it is pretty annoying.
Mekons - Edge of the World. Starts strong but then gets kind of bad.
Hop Along - Bark Your Head Off, Dog. I quite like this for reasons I can't totally articulate. I think their earlier album is better regarded, I should dig that out.
John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band. Good.
Katy B - Little Red. Good.
Shopping - Consumer Complaints. Okay.
Colette - When the Music's Loud. I love this album, by an artist I know basically nothing about.
Trash Kit - Confidence. Unmemorable.
