He appeared around the same time and in the same contexts as Pete, leading one to wonder if they were homosexual partners or the same person talking to himself. He and Pete shared a vast lexicon of dopey inside jokes, mostly about classic rock and old Babble/WRC lore (that I'm not sure how they were aware of considering they had not yet posted on Babble and were like 5 when most of that stuff happened). . . they became obsessed with old FAKE boards forgotten by Babble years ago, taking them over with hundreds of posts talking to each other (a day!) and created endless "secret" and rival boards that only they posted on. When I deleted one of the old FAKE boards I had created, they got genuinely upset, acting as if I had robbed them of something important and hated me for it.
When Ricky finally got on Babble, despite months prior of making predictable Billdude/Musicman jokes I'm not sure how he learned )or why he would care about something he had no direct involvement with), he revealed him to be the classic low-brow high school "classic rock" guy. The kinda kid you meet in high school with greasy hair and all the AC/DC and Led Zeppelin T-shirts, thinks Pink Floyd is "real serious" music, has smoked pot once and think it's edgy shit. Naturally, (conforming to the stereotype) he played guitar (which he probably sucked at, as they all do), hated any music that didn't have "kick ass guitar solos", had a shitty band he posted some inaudible demos for. . . He made a lot of political statements he had neither the education nor life experience to back up, citing Roger Waters as his idol and history's greatest political thinker (despite his liberalism he made the exception for homosexuals which were "####ing gross" and "should all die"), that made Jim seem intelligent by comparison. Occasionally his account would allegedly get hacked by people from school making fun of him, but I'm pretty sure that was bullshit and he was just lonely. By his own account he lived with his large Hispanic family in a motel room and his personal life was plagued by their various personal and financial difficulties.
The worst thing about Ricky was that when Pete predictably became very unpopular here he readily turned against him, his only actual friend, and thought he could be a cool kid by jumping on the bandwagon. Which is, in my opinion, one of the worst things a person can ever do. He eventually decided Babble was "gay" and we could all #### ourselves, but for some reason he pops back up under FAKE names here and there with really obvious, limp-wristed trolling attempts. Unlike Pete who could occasionally feel genuine sympathy for, Ricky is a little twerpy spic dweeb I would have no issue with beating the living #### out of if I were ever within one hundred miles of him.
