Hollow Man: Paul Verhoeven wasting his talent on generic horror crap. Schlock. This movie made him quit Hollywood for good.
Open Water: I remember Mike D saying this was the stupidest movie he ever saw, so I skipped it.
Reprisal: Man, I don't even NOTICE when Bruce Willis is in a movie anymore. What does he do these crappy thrillers three times a year for?
The Hunt: Generic title and didn't they steal this concept from The Last Supper?
The Craft: Sucked sucked. One of the most badly dated films of the 1990s. I didn't even like it when I was 14 and it came out.
Eastern Promises was okay. Cronenberg's been in a more or less dry spell since then, unless you want to believe the people who liked Cosmopolis.
A long time ago there was a "Biggest 2000-2010 pop culture phenomena?" poll thread on this board, to which I memorably answered with a bunch of smart aleck items like "The XFL," "Actresses recording albums of Tom Waits covers," "Web reviewing" and "Music Babblers excitedly discussing the themes, composition and meaning of the Mars Volta's Frances The Mute." If I forgot to include Snakes On A Plane in there, I apologize. No, that movie blew, the silly one liner is all anyone could possibly need to know about the movie.
