Yeah George gave Let It Bleed basically the highest rating possible and I guess he overrated it for me. Kinda still did for me, but not really much nowadays; it is really consistently great and has an interesting dark, ominous feel to the whole thing, even silly bullshit like the title track or "You Got The Silver". Although I am sick of the first and last track, but I'm sure a lot of people are.
Meant to revisit Exile because that was another classic I wasn't that crazy about when I was younger. About half of it is awesome stuff like "Rocks Off", "Happy", "Tumbling Dice" etc. but a lot of it felt like sloppy tossed off filler too. I honestly don't remember most of it though. Goats Head is one of my favorites though and I played it out a lot over the years. Was always kind of my favorite Stones record, but now I realize it kind of peters out a bit on the 2nd side and I think I prefer Beggars now.
Yeah was great about "Autobahn". Was a random find flipping through radio channels. "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" is great too, and also rare to hear the full version.
