Bowie - Ziggy Stardust (I guess all in all this is Bowie's best. There's nothing I can say that hasn't been. I had heard Aladdin Sane first, oddly.)
Nirvana - Nevermind (I got this when I was like 13 and was both disappointed that more tracks didn't sound like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and I played it totally out: so I both didn't really enjoy the album and have heard it too much, plus I heard it only when its era had passed, in the late '90s. Nevertheless it's a great album that can be enjoyed the same way as Dark Side of the Moon can.
Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde (I really should give it another listen. I had unrealistic expectations based on George's and others' reviews, though when I look at the tracklist I recognize a good many good songs.
Led Zeppelin - IV (Totally wore it out in early high school, actually one of the first albums I ever downloaded, searching for each individual track, all at different bitrates and volumes. I have more fond memories of the circumstances than of the album. It wore out quickly and I never latched on to any of the songs; I never had a Led Zep phase and still have heard only half their albums or so. These guys were a huge blowhard bore even then.)
Joni Mitchell - Blue (Downloaded this one last year with other famous albums I should have heard. Gave it a few spins, liked it OK, but not enough to check out the artist further. Don't remember anything else about it.)
Radiohead - OK Computer (I guess you had to have been there? I downloaded this album like 25 years after the fact and it's... there. The Soft Bulletin hit me the same way. Late '90s masterpieces, my ass. I've never liked Radiohead.)
I like both singles from Talking Book. I could do without hearing the original "Superstition" for life but "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" is one of his best songs. I don't rank jazz albums but Bitches Brew is one of my all-time musical disappointments. Didn't like it at all at first, eventually came to like half of it, and after much time and goodwill, and many years, I now more or less enjoy the album. His '70s stuff is better. I wish I had heard the Kanye so I would have something to say about every album here.
