I do sort of get the crack about the show ruining Ozzy's career--a lot of people used it as a crutch to bash the guy's latter-day music, which I'm now realizing was sort of an afterthought in comparison to the TV show. I remember Roland Fratzl saying the covers album was the worst thing he'd ever heard in his life. People enjoyed seeing Ozzy bumble around on TV but lots of reviews of the show trashed his music as pure ham. I can remember that.
Yeah, let's see, Ozzy has Parkinson's, Sharon had colon cancer, Jack had multiple sclerosis, and I guess kids finally stopped buying Kelly's solo album. F***in' family's been cursed since that show came out!!
I thought the "13" album he did with Iommi and Butler got good reviews? Who cares I guess?
