Of course -- an aux jack. D'oh. This should be easy.

I left out that the "cheap Chinese crap" was cheap no-name portables. I'm concerned more with build quality than sound quality; one piece of equipment I've had was so poorly engineered that it had to be modified to even work properly. I've had some good Chinese-made stuff, but it was for more reputable companies that you could actually write to.
