Maybe R2D2, who benefits from never having to deliver dialogue. Most of the main characters from the original trilogy are hit-and-miss (e.g. Leia's good in 4 and 7 but has little memorable to do in 5 and 6; Luke's good in 5 but annoying in 4) or were kind of ruined by the prequels. Since I haven't seen 9 which I assume will be terrible, I don't want to pick anybody introduced in 7 or 8. And while I liked Rogue One, I barely remember any of the characters in it.
