Re: 1 book, 7 movies, 7 albums
I don't especially disagree with anything you say about The Green Knight but I liked it. It probably helped that it was the first movie I'd seen in a theater in a year and a half, but I thought it looked beautiful, as the other David Lowery movies I've seen generally have, and was very atmospheric. I thought the ending was great. I've only seen a couple other Arthurian movies (the Clive Owen-Keira Knightley one, which I didn't hate, is the only other I can think of apart from Monty Python's), I dunno if that helped or hindered my enjoyment. The only Jerry Lewis movie that I can think of that I've seen is Artists And Models, which is very goofy but which I enjoyed. Given how many movies he made with Dean Martin, maybe he needed a straight man. I liked "However Much I Booze" from By Numbers but nothing else. I think I've heard the Big Star reunion once but don't remember anything about it. Chilton's career is all over the place and I've never fallen in love with any of his solo stuff. But I like the Posies okay so maybe I should give it another shot.
