I honestly don't think the Brian Wilson production job is even bad, or should even be regarded as such a disaster. I mean, I'm the guy who went easy on Dirty Work--something NOBODY else around here has ever done--but people talk about the BW album like Brian was trying to do the soundtrack to Dirty Dancing.
And however badly produced it is, nothing beats "Smart Girls."
