Half-Cocked, a super low budget indie featuring also-rans from the 90s Louisville music scene, including members of Rodan and June of 44. Hard to recommend unless you really like noise rock from the era, but I loved it for the aimlessness and verisimilitude. If you've ever been around really dumb people whose sole virtue is that they want to make music that sounds like Sonic Youth, it's a good period piece. I also watched Everything Everywhere All at Once, which is maybe a very good 80 minute movie stretched out to an unfathomable length. Why do we need 20 minutes of every character apologizing to each other? I don't need my films to be therapy sessions.
