Some Rolling Stone writer said that the jazz bass was the finest bass playing in rock history? Who knows.

"The Way Young Lovers Do" and "Ballerina" are the weakest songs but both are still decent. I play AW every year and have never bored with it. In 2003 it got me thru growing pains. Van is a dull old grump now who got more press for bashing lockdowns than his music and I will probably never hear a Van album from after 1974, but AW is a bandwagon I'm happy to jump on.
