Bob Dylan-John Wesley Harding (not as flashy as the electric stuff but still one of Dylan's best- solid set of songs and ridiculously influential, while the electric stuff pretty much kicked off psych rock, this album and the original bootlegged "Basement Tapes" pretty much ushered in the rootsy vibe that pretty much everyone would employ for the next few years)
Herbie Hancock-Sextant (basically Herbie's version of "On The Corner" which was released the previous year- pretty repetitive but the atmosphere is so ridiculously dope it more than makes up for it)
Vicktor Vaughn-Vaudeville Villain (fan favorite but more "serious" than I like my Doom, nothing here that he hasn't done better on several other albums)
Wishbone Ash-Argus (I dig the funky into to "The King Will Come" but that's about it- this type of medieval tinged rock isn't really my thing)
