Tago Mago - both of these are #1s and this one is a pure masterpiece. Just think it's slightly slightly teensy bit overlong but not really much. I love this crazy thing from beginning to end.. even those weird ass things like Aumgn which just goes on and on with not much going on but listening to it stoned is kinda life changing. Like a spiritual mantra or something
Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - also a masterpiece but a flawed one. Could have been trimmed by a song or 2 but it is a really great album. Jay Bennett was something God rest his soul. He added some color and a minor eccentric vibe to these songs that was needed.
Marquee Moon - another amazing album that could be higher than Wilco. Amazing musicianship on this record and one of my favorite guitar albums. Such beautiful guitar melodies all over this. Tom's voice is quivering and weird but beautiful in a flawed way that is perfect for these songs
Raw Power - groundbreaking as #### but don't really listen to the Stooges that much. Probably should as this was extremely ahead of it's time
I like Stepping Out by Joe Jackson. A hell of a groove on that hit but I'm not familiar with jackshit else
Not familiar with Nick Cave at all. Do I really need to bother to listen to Dream Theater?
